PBIS

What is PBIS:

PBIS stands for Positive Behavioral
Intervention System. It is a program that
believes in the education of the whole
child. Just as we continually find ways
to make sure students learn to read and
write, we find ways to make sure
students learn appropriate behaviors.
Within this behavioral learning system,
students practice expected behaviors
and earn rewards for demonstrating
these behaviors. These rewards occur
individually, as a classroom and as a wholeschool. These rewards are

privileges!
