Henry County Schools to Offer Free Summer Meal Service Sites

HENRY COUNTY, GA – Henry County Schools will offer its annual summer meal service June 1-25 as part of the districtwide School Nutrition Program.

 

Selected HCS schools will serve free breakfast and lunch Monday-Thursday for students under the age of 19. Adults may purchase breakfast for $2.75 and lunch for $4.50.

 

Breakfast will be served from 8-8:30 a.m., and lunch will be served from 12-12:30 p.m. Participants must eat meals on site in the cafeteria.

 

All sites will be closed on Fridays and on Thursday, June 18, in observance of the Juneteenth holiday.

 

The program is provided in conjunction with the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the Georgia School Nutrition Program.
