HCS Superintendent Shares 90-Day Entry Plan Report
HENRY COUNTY, GA – Dr. John Pace III marked the completion of his first 90 days as the superintendent of Henry County Schools by sharing his i3 Pursuit to Exceptional Entry Plan report at the March study session of the Henry County Board of Education.
Dr. Pace began his tenure with HCS in September 2024, with a blueprint to facilitate the district’s ambitious “Pursuit of Exceptional,” intended to position it as a leader in providing public education. His 90-day entry plan, designed around an i3 formula, outlines his plans to ensure success in his role and implement strategies to advance a highly effective school district.
The i3 Plan incorporates the following three phases:
- i3 Phase One: initiate Opportunities to Learn and Communicate, Creating Cohesion and Confidence in Henry County Schools.
- i3 Phase Two: integrate Access to Assess Student Learning Aligned to the Strategic Plan.
- i3 Phase Three: illustrate Outcomes toward Process by presenting findings and recommending next steps, painting and visualizing the pathway forward in the “Pursuit of Exceptional.”
Over the 90 days, Dr. Pace welcomed numerous opportunities to engage and build relationships with students, families, the Board of Education, district staff, and community partners. These stakeholder forums included community cluster meetings, discussions with elementary, middle, and high school student advisory councils, and Power Forums with principals.
Through multiple school visits, Dr. Pace obtained an in-depth view of student performance districtwide with a vision to accelerate learning for all students.
