The Henry County Public Schools Foundation (HCPSF) will launch its 100-day Give First campaign on June 1 and invites community members to be among the first to contribute to its emerging efforts to shape the future of public education in Henry County.

Henry County Schools will offer its annual summer meal service June 2-26 as part of the districtwide School Nutrition Program.

Eagle’s Landing High School senior Sai Sangeeta Chava was recently recognized as a 2025 Georgia Scholar by the Georgia Department of Education (GaDOE).

The Henry County Board of Education on May 12 approved the final budget for the 2025-2026 school year, which includes an investment of $13,867 per student and raises the starting teacher salary to $53,910.

In 2018, Jamari Wright was a senior at Stockbridge High School, working part-time at a restaurant, when she inquired about her school’s Work-Based Learning (WBL) program. Operated according to state guidelines, WBL allows students to join the workforce and earn high school credits.

Earlier this month, more than 200 Dutchtown High School (DHS) students joined the global online voting event to determine the 2025 Freedom Prize winner.

Henry County Schools juniors Hannon Grimwood Moss and Carrington Stevens were among 50 high school students from across the region who recently graduated from the Model Atlanta Regional Commission (MARC) youth leadership program.
