This will be my 13th year teaching, and my 1st year teaching here at East Lake Elementary. I consider myself lucky to be a part of the East Lake family! I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Georgia State University in 2012. I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education with an ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) endorsement. I also have my Gifted endorsement. My son will be going to high school this year and my daughter will be in 4th grade here at East Lake as well. I enjoy traveling, GA sports, watching my children play sports, and spending quality time with family and friends.

I'm very excited to have the opportunity to share my knowledge and enthusiasm with your child. I look forward to getting to know your child, meeting his/her unique needs, and challenging him/her to learn and excel. I see all of my students as individuals and I believe that every child can and will succeed if he or she is given many opportunities to do so. As a teacher, it is my responsibility to facilitate a positive learning environment, full of encouragement and support, in which all students can thrive and learn. I hope to make this academic year an educational as well as a fun-filled year for your child.
