• What is CTAE?

Career and Technical Education (CTE) is a vital part of preparing students for the workforce and post-secondary education by integrating core academic knowledge with technical and occupational skills. In Georgia, there are 17 Career Clusters designed to align with the state's workforce needs, guiding students towards college preparation and career development.

Each cluster's curriculum emphasizes common knowledge, skills, and abilities, providing students with opportunities such as advanced curriculum, dual enrollment, Work-based Learning, as well as career awareness, development, and employability skills. Ultimately, career and technical education is crucial in ensuring students are ready for college and their careers.
