Teaching is an absolute passion of mine. I am so excited about working with you and your child! It's going to be a year full of fun, learning, and lots of adventures and I can't wait to see what the year has in store for us! I thought you might like to know a little bit about me.

I grew up in McDonough, Georgia, where I attended East Lake Elementary. I then attended Union Grove Middle School from 6th-8th. I graduated from Union Grove High School in 2011. For college, I attended Gordon State College where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education and Special Education. I recently graduated in December from Georgia Southern University and received a Masters in Instructional Technology/ Media Specialist.

I have taught for 6 years at Lee Street Elementary in Clayton County. I taught for 3 years in fourth grade and 3 years in fifth grade. This year it will be my mission to install a love for reading in all my students. I will teach with a passion so that all students develop a desire to become life-long learners. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. It is important to keep communication open between us and I would love to talk to you whenever you feel the need! I look forward to a great year together!
