Welcome to Mr. Wells's Class!
Welcome to a new school year! It is my pleasure to introduce myself to you. My name is Laramy Wells, and I will be teaching your student in mathematics this year. I have been teaching since 2004. My previous experience has been in Newton County and Greene County. I received my teaching degree in mathematics from Georgia Southern University in 2004, and my master’s degree in Instructional Technology in 2016. I look forward to a great year of hard work and I am proud to be teaching at Ola High School!
In math, students will be expected to work at school and at home in order to fully understand the more advanced concepts. You can expect your student to have practice work frequently. If your student needs extra help with an assignment or simply has a question, I can also be reached via email or Remind. I try to reply in a decent amount of time. My usual day for tutoring is Tuesdays after-school from 3:30-4:15. I have many expectations for my students here at OHS and hard work is one of them.
I firmly believe that the best education will take place when the parents, students, and teachers work together as a team. With that in mind, feel free to contact me by email at firstname.lastname@example.org and I will reply within 24 hours. Together we can make your child be successful in school this year.
I am looking forward to working with you and your student this school year. I assure you I will work diligently to make your student’s classroom environment both engaging and productive. Thank you again for this opportunity to introduce myself. Please look through the site for additional information. Best wishes for you and your family this school year!
