A little bit about me ~
I'm a Clayton County native but grew up in both Clayton and Henry counties.  I graduated from Jonesboro High School and then moved to Tuscaloosa, Alabama to receive my Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education.  I moved back home and began teaching.  I graduated from Troy University in 2005 where I received my Master's Degree.  I'm currently certified in Gifted Education, AP Statistics and AP Precalculus.
I've been married for 20 years to my husband, John, and we have a beautiful, 16 year old daughter named Piper .  I have been teaching for 26 years and all of it in Henry County. This will be my 27th year.  My hobbies include walking, hiking, watching and attending UGA football games (my husband's Alma Mater) and reading.  I'm also active in my church.  I'm an alto in our church choir.
I love to travel!  I've been to 18 countries, 27 states, and 12 National Parks.  My goal is to visit as many National Parks as possible.  Over the summer, my husband and I visited Germany, and Norway, where we took a cruise of the coast of Svalbard.

This year I will be teaching Honors Precalculus and AP Precalulus.  Please navigate through my site to access anything you may need to prepare for YOUR course.

I really want the school to feel like "family."  So let's get started and GOOOOO OLA!
