Stage Details

Stage Floor

  • Sprung stage floor constructed of Canadian Maple on 3/4" plywood, 2X4 sleepers on 16" centers and neoprene pads
  • Surface is generally covered with black vinyl dance floor (Harlequin Allegro) and covers the entire stage surface
  • Orchestra pit is enclosed with a removable 3'4" x 2'4" plug for conducting
  • Lagging into the stage floor is not allowed
  • Obstructions
    • Lighting floor pockets are located upstage (two evenly spaced), and extreme left and right (three each side)
    • Two audio/video floor pockets are spaced evenly on the downstage apron

  • Proscenium height = 22'8"
  • Stage width wall to wall = 76'6"
  • Total stage depth plaster line to upstage wall = 33'7"

Wing Dimensions

  • DS to US = 36'5"
  • Typical clear wings space = 20'8"
    • NOTE - depending on production schedule, sets, props, staging elements and/or other production equipment may be located in the wings and it may or may not be possible to relocate them

Orchestra Pit

  • Roughly 27'x19' (+/- due to angled walls)
  • Ceiling height is 7'5"
  • Accesible through stair wells from SL or SR
  • No orchestra lift is available for orchestra or equipment
    • Equipment must be hand carried down the stairs
  • Room can be locked for securing instruments and equipment

FOH

  • Located at rear center of seating on the upper level
  • Houses sound control, lighting control, video and audio recording
  • Accessible from main theater entrances through the house center-left aisle
  • Distance from booth to plaster line is approximately 83'

Stage Rigging

  • 24 Vortek motorized hoists are controlled by a Vortek Touchscreen Controller
  • 11 Motors are occupied by soft goods, except main valence (main valence is dead hung)
  • 4 Motors are Stage Electrics
