Senate Bill 63

In accordance with Georgia Senate Bill 63, home study students who reside in Henry County are eligible to participate in select state and district-funded assessments at participating schools. Eligible assessments include:

  • PSAT 8/9 (8th graders funded by Henry County Schools)
    • Administered October 15, 2025; Henry County Schools Ordering Deadline -- September 22, 2025
  • PSAT/NMSQT (10th graders funded by the State of Georgia)
    • Administering October 15, 2025; HCS Ordering Deadline -- September 22, 2025
  • Advanced Placement (AP) Exams (available exams may vary by school)
    • Ordering Deadline for 1st Semester and Year-long courses: November 14, 2025
    • Ordering Deadline for 2nd Semester courses: March 13, 2026 
    • AP Testing Dates
  • SAT School Day (available at participating schools only)
    • Ordering deadlines vary
  • ACT In School (available at participating schools only)
    • Ordering deadlines vary
  • Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB)
    • Ordering deadlines vary

All assessments are administered during regular school hours and on school campuses.  Home study families are required to provide transportation and assume responsibility for financial obligations, if the assessment is not universally funded for a specific grade-level or group of students.

If the assessment is administered at all schools, it is required that home study students take assessments at the school for which they are zoned based on residency. If the assessment is only administered at select schools, students will be allowed to test at other participating schools that offer the national assessments they need.

Registration Procedures

If you are a home school student interested in taking one or more national assessments in Henry County Schools—including the PSAT 8/9, PSAT/NMSQT, SAT School Day, ACT School Day, ASVAB, or Advanced Placement (AP) Exams—please complete the Home School Testing Request Form. 

Completing this form does NOT register you to test. Submitting this form allows us to connect you with your zoned Henry County school and ensure you receive the correct information and next steps for registration and participation.

Does the student require accommodations?
Home Study students are responsible for requesting accommodations directly through the testing agency:

  • College Board (PSAT, SAT, AP): Submit the Student Eligibility Form directly to the College Board.
  • ACT: Submit the accommodation request directly to ACT.
