Purchasing

The Purchasing Department is aligned to the Core Beliefs and Commitments established by the Henry County Board of Education. To ensure students have access to materials and services for learning, Purchasing shall:

• Facilitate purchases that are in the best interest of Henry County School District;
• Serve as stewards and support transparency in use of public funds;
• Protect against conflict of interest;
• Support the maximization of competition;
• Ensure equal and fair competition; and
• Remain in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

We strive to obtain and provide high quality products and services utilizing the most cost effective, professional and ethical procurement practices to support and meet the needs of Henry County Schools students, faculty and staff.
