The Henry County Board of Education believes that family and community is critical to student success.  As a result, throughout Henry County School’s strategic plan, policies and investments, we have expressed a commitment to ensure interested business, civic and faith-based organizations  have a clear pathway to support us in providing opportunities, access and outcomes for all students in the pursuit of our ambitious goals.

Faith-Based Organizations, Business Partners, and Civic Organizations play a crucial role in the ongoing success of our schools. Both district and school leadership team members collaborate closely to establish formal partnerships (through the MOU process) or informal partnerships (such as Friends of the school).  Our overarching goal is to ensure that every school has at least one community partner, business partner, or civic-organization partner.

The resulting Henry Partners Program is a clear representation that we believe family and community involvement is critical to student success, that we’ve developed policies that call for a plan to advance opportunities, access and outcomes, and, that we seek to advance community and stakeholder engagement so that all students, families and employees feel welcomed and valued.

As a district we have identified three main pillars to our Henry Partners Program. Volunteering, Mentoring and Sponsorship.
