School Profiles Processing Guidance
Henry County Schools' 2024 School Profiles provide insights into a school’s performance using a blend of state (Georgia Department of Education) and local accountability (Henry County Schools) measures which may vary depending on the school level, from elementary to middle to high school measures. Each profile includes the following insights:
- Student Enrollment – Provides the total enrollment for a school in 2024 as well as the student group percentages for each school.
- Attendance – Reflects the percentage of the school’s students that attended 90% of their enrollment days during the 2024 school year.
- Graduation Rate (high schools only) – Reflects the 4-Year Graduation Rate for high schools.
- Staffing – The number of staff at each school during the 2024 school year.
- Georgia Milestones Performance – Reflects state accountability measures from the Georgia Milestones Assessment System (GMAS)
- Priority Student Outcome (PSO) Performance – Reflects the percentage by which schools have progressed towards meeting PSO goals that were established by the Henry County Schools 2021-2026 Community-Inspired Strategic Plan as a component of local accountability measures. The insights provided in School Profiles are not for comparison purposes; rather, the purpose of School Profiles is to allow for transparency on school and district performance in key student performance indicators, and to generate conversations between schools and community members on how to continue to support and partner with one another to ensure exceptional results for all Henry County students.
