All About Mrs. Paul
“Do what you love, love what you do”. I have always loved this quote and try to live my life by it. For me, teaching students to love learning is my love!! I feel that God called me to teach during college and I have loved this career ever since. I attended Georgia State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education in 1991. I have taught at Oakland Elementary, Eagle’s Landing Christian Academy, Veritas Classical Schools, and Ola Elementary. I have taught K-6 grades Regular Education, Special Education, and Gifted Education.
I have been married to the love of my life, Kevin Paul, for over 29 years. We have three daughters; Rachel, Rebecca, and Regan. They all have graduated from college and it has been a joy to watch them discover God’s direction for their lives. Regan, our youngest, has a degree in Cross-Cultural Studies in Adult Education with a minor in TESOL. Rebecca, our middle daughter, is married to Collin and is teaching high school Chemistry in Warner Robbins. Lastly, our oldest daughter, Rachel, is married to Trey, and live in Tampa, and is serving as a hospital Chaplin, after finishing her Master's in Divinity at Vanderbilt.
Yes, I have the privilege to work with my much younger sister, as she likes to tell everyone, Mrs. LaVecchia. We do have another sister, who is not a teacher, who is the oldest of us three girls.
One of my favorite past times is spending time with my family, especially at the lake! I also love to read, travel, and eat CHOCOLATE!
