7th ANNUAL HENRY COUNTY WORLD LANGUAGES FAIR 2021-2022
Congratulations to the outstanding students and teachers who participated in World Languages Virtual Fair 2021. World Languages Fair will be virtual again this school year and it is scheduled to take place on Saturday, March 26th. World Language students representing our elementary, middle, and high schools are invited to participate in a day filled with excitement and cultural fun. World Languages teachers will share details for registration in December 2021.
At World Languages Fair, our Henry County Schools students showcase their language skills and multi-cultural knowledge by competing in the following categories with a focus on global competency:
1. TALENT SHOW- DANCING, SINGING, & TRADITIONAL COSTUME DESIGN
2. POETRY RECITATION
3. FILM- DOCUMENTARY, SHORT FILM, & INTERVIEWS
4. ART- PAINTINGS, COLLAGES, PIÑATAS, DRAWINGS, SCULPTURES, & DIORAMAS
5. VOCABULARY BEE CONTEST
6. MINI-WORLD CUP- 3 v 3 INTERNATIONAL SOCCER CONTEST (TBD)
7. ACADEMIC CULTURE BOWL
In addition to competing in event categories, our World Language students participate as Ambassadors and Volunteers at the event by leading Service Learning Tasks as part of the World Languages Coordinator Student Leadership Team and World Language Fair Committee.
