The Henry County Board of Education encourages all individuals to attempt to resolve grievances at the school or department before filing a formal complaint. If you have specific questions regarding any policies and procedures provided below, please contact Legal Compliance at 770-957-6601.
HCBOE Policy GAE: Complaints and Grievances
Policy for certified employees as it relates to any alleged violation, misinterpretation, or misapplication of statutes, rules, regulations, or written agreements that affects the employment relationship. Complaint Form
HCBOE Policy GAE-E(1): Discrimination Complaints
Policy for employees as it relates to allegations of any policy, procedure, or practice which discriminates on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, age, handicap, disability, veteran status, or genetic information. Complaint Form.
