    All About Me:
    I graduated with my B.A. in Middle Grades Education from Clayton State University in 2010. My areas of concentration were Social Science and Language Arts. I have since added certifications in Early Childhood, Middle Grades Reading, Science, Mathematics and have my Gifted endorsement.

    This is my 12th year of teaching, but my 1st year teaching 7th grade. I am so excited about being at Dutchtown Middle School this year. I am a product of Henry County Schools and excited to be a part of the education of future generations. I grew up in McDonough and graduated from Eagles Landing High School. 

    I absolutely love to read and I hope to be able to instill and cultivate this passion in my students. When I am not at school, I spend my time with my husband, 15-year-old daughter Hannah, 9-year-old son Jeremiah and our youngest daughter, Ellie, who is 6. I love to curl up with a cup of coffee and watch movies and do activities with Hannah. Through Jeremiah, I have been introduced to the world of all things SuperHeroes and StarWars. I so love getting sweet snuggles and enjoying seeing the world through new eyes with our Ellie.  We love to travel and go to Disney World at least 3-4 times a year.

    All things Disney (my favorite character is Tinker Belle)
    All things Harry Potter (love the books and the movies)
    Hallmark Christmas movies (I even watch the ones that air during Christmas in July)
    Decorating for holidays---Christmas is my favorite because I love the excitement of the season and getting to see how much my kids love it too!
    Chickfila (worked there in high school and still love it to this day!)
    Going to Hobby Lobby and TJ Maxx!!!
