Chief Marvin RussellChief Marvin O. Russell is a native of Chattanooga, Tennessee; he graduated from Howard High School in 1987. In October 1987 he enlisted into the United States Navy and after serving twenty one years he retired in July 2008.
After his retirement from the military he pursued a career in education. He inaugurated one of Georgia’s newly ROTC Programs in Douglas County (Chapel Hill High School ROTC) in 2009 where he had tenure of two years. Chief Russell is a new educator to Henry County School District (Stockbridge High School) where he continue to educate young men and women to reach their highest potential, self-discipline, self-respect and being a loyal citizen.
