At Fairview Elementary, we are in the process of developing champions. True champions aren't successful by themselves, they work together as a team. My students know that we work together as a team to reach our goals. We work through our challenges and celebrate our accomplishments together. We will work together as a team, and we will succeed as a team.
I am Mr. Edgerton, the Early Intervention Program (EIP) teacher for students in 3rd - 5th grade. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Shorter Universtiy, and a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Development from Central Michigan University. As the EIP teacher, I support students in accelerating their learning in order to decrease the gap to bring them to grade-level.
As a team, students, parents/guardians, classroom teachers, other support personnel, and I will work to develop the champion within every child.
