Who is Mrs. Wright?
My love of history stems from traveling around the United States as a child and visiting important and interesting sites with my family. My father is retired from the Marine Corps, and as a result, I have lived all over our great country. My family settled in Georgia when my father retired from the military--I was 10 years old at the time. I have lived in McDonough for almost 25 years.
I graduated from Clayton Christian High School in Morrow, Georgia, and attended North Georgia College in Dahlonega (now UNG), where I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a minor in US History. I received my teaching certificate through the Post-Baccalaureate program with Mercer University. I am currently working on a master's degree with UNG in Curriculum and Instruction.
This is my 18th year of teaching, and my 5th year at UGHS. I look forward to meeting and working with the students this year.
