MISSIONThe mission of TSA is to prepare its membership to be successful leaders and responsible citizens in a technological society through co-curricular activities with in the technology education program; which includes communication, leadership, and competitive skill development in the classroom.

Technology Day ResultsOn Monday, October 12 , 2009, three chapter members traveled to Perr, GA to compete in and enjoy GA TSA’s Tech Day at Georgia's National Fairground. Two students competed against Technology Education students from around the state in varying categories, which showcased the co-curricular aspect of TSA. Shanequa Thomas was top 10 finalist in the Promotional Video category placing 6th overall. Congratulations to ELHS' TSA Chapter for a respectable showing at Tech Day. State Conference ResultsOn Thursday, March 12 & Friday, March 13, 2009, eleven chapter members traveled to Athens, GA to compete and volunteer at GA TSA’s 47th State Conference. Nine students competed in varying categories from On Demand Video to Technical Problem Solving. Ciera White & Amber Brown placed 12th in Fashion Design and Ashley Williams was top 10 finalist in Desktop Publishing. Congratulations to ELHS' TSA Chapter for a respectable showing at State. TSA Receives Awards at FLCCongratulations to ELHS' TSA Chapter for receiving the White Star and Early Bird awards during the 2008 Fall Leadership Conference. The White Star award recognizes any chapter that increases membership by at least 10% or aids in starting or reinstatement of another TSA chapter. ELHS earned the Early Bird award by being one of the first chapters in state to sign up for and pay for Fall Leadership Conference registration.
