• Dear Woodland Elementary School Faculty/Staff and Families,

It is with great enthusiasm and excitement that I write this letter as the new Woodland Elementary School Assistant Principal.  I am honored to serve in this new role.  I know I am joining a strong school culture synonymous with excellence, dedication, and collaboration.  It is my goal to enhance these characteristics through the collective knowledge and creativity of our students, staff, and families.

For over twenty years, I have worked in various areas of early childhood education.  Classroom teacher, literacy coach, childcare center owner/director, EIP reading teacher, instructional specialist, and reading specialist are roles that I have had in my educational career. My academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from Georgia Southern University, a Master’s in Instruction from Central Michigan University and a Doctorate in Education from Argosy University. I am also certified in reading P-12 from Georgia Southern University and Educational Leadership from the University of Georgia. I am elated to bring my skills as an educator and leader to Woodland Elementary School and work with you as a partner in education.

My decision to become an administrator stems from my desire to positively impact the entire school community. I will work diligently with the administrative team, faculty, staff, and community to carry out the vision and mission of Woodland Elementary School.  I am committed to continuous professional growth and ensuring educational equity and access for all our students.  It is my belief that students are the center of all school-related decisions.  I am excited to unite my experience, my openness to learn, and my child-centered approach to supporting our students. Because relationships between teachers, administrators, and families are vital to the success of our students and school, I encourage you to come and visit me. My door is always open.  I welcome your conversation and collaboration. I look forward to our collective success this 2023-2024 school year.  I am beyond ecstatic to meet all of you.

    Yours in Service,

    Stacy Brundage, Ed.D.
