___________________________________________________________________SENIOR MASTER SERGEANT TORRANCE L. MCGEE
Senior Master Sergeant Torrance “Coach Tee” L. McGee retired as the ElementChief, Network Integrations, 6th Communications Squadron, MacDill Air ForceBase, Florida. SMSgt McGee mentored 23 personnel in two work centers toprovide operational oversight for communication sites totaling over $17M. Heacted as liaison with all military services to provide operational direction andtechnical expertise for circuit outages, conducted staff assistance visits toprepare personnel for headquarters level inspections. He also maintained securevoice communications for two combatant commands and secure and non-securenetwork communications for the 6th Air Mobility Wing.SMSgt McGee enlisted in the Air Force in August 1985. He holds a Masters Degree in Secondary Eduation with at specialty in Health and Physical Education along with a Bachelors of Science degree in Multidisciplinary Studies from Liberty University. He has performed in various jobs throughout his career to include Armed Forces, Air Force, and United States Air Force Europe Track and Field Coach, Pacific Air Forces Inspector General Team Member, Group Fitness Program Coordinator, Sexual Assault Victim Advocate, Quality Focus and Improvement Team Instructor, Section Chief, Facility Control Office, Japan, Supply and Computer Operations Technician, Network Management and Information Systems Manager, Exercise Evaluation Team Leader, Alternate First Sergeant duties and 3C Career Field Functional Manager at Robins Air Force Base.SMSgt McGee currently serves as an Aerospace Science Instructor for Ola High School Air Force Junior ROTC program teaching Aerospace Science and Leadership Education. He has taught over 800 students preparing them for life and service to the community and Nation. He also serves as the Georgia District Christian Prisoner Fellowship Prison Ministry Coordinator for the United Pentecostal Church International for the State of Georgia coordinating prison ministry efforts for 104 churches.
