Major Jeff Maddox – Commander

I started my law enforcement career in 1994 at Forest Park Police Department. I left there and started at Henry County Police Department in 1997. I have worked my way up through the ranks and recently was promoted to the rank of Major. I am the Major over the School Resource Division. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice: Business Administration and Management, as well as a master’s degree in Criminal Justice: Homeland Security. I enjoy my job and it is very rewarding to be able to make an impact on our school children. I enjoy my interaction with the students each school day. My goal is to provide a safe and secure school environment for every student to learn in.
