At Red Oak Elementary, we are focused on providing an education that all Henry County Community members can be proud of! On the most recent College and Career Ready Performance Index (CCRPI), we had several areas where we grew or increased our score from the previous year. Our score on the Closing Gaps indicator rose over 20 points! This component of CCRPI displays that all student subgroups at Red Oak Elementary are making improvements and growing. We also had a four-star Climate rating, which is an indication of the phenomenal environment that we have created for our students here at Red Oak.

Although the state has not calculated a CCRPI score during the last two school years due to the pandemic, we have continued our pursuit of exceptional at Red Oak Elementary. Our students continue to learn at high levels and our teachers continue to challenge our students to become the best version of themselves each day.

    ROE picStudent Opportunities
At Red Oak, we believe in our vision to develop well-rounded, confident, and responsible leaders with the skills and mindset to achieve their highest potential! We provide a variety of academic opportunities for our students including exceptional student education services, a robust early intervention program, and small group gifted services. We also offer accelerated math for our 4th and 5th-grade students to challenge their skills and prepare them for advanced math courses at the middle and high school levels.

Our teachers constantly strive to create a learning environment where students are accelerated or remediated to challenge each student to be their best.

At Red Oak Elementary, we are a proud Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) school. We seek to create a safe, caring, and friendly learning community that enables the students we serve to achieve their highest social, behavioral, and academic potential. To us, this means working alongside our students to motivate and challenge them to become the best students they can be! We love celebrating our student’s hard work through fall festivals and behavioral celebrations like Kindness week and Red Ribbon week.

Our students and staff love to dress up and have fun together! We also enjoy celebrating the hard work of our teachers and staff through monthly celebrations as a Monarch family. We are thankful to have the chance to work with such a wonderful community and the best students and staff in Henry County!

    ROE picExtracurriculars
Here at Red Oak Elementary, we have a variety of opportunities to develop our students' passions and skills through our clubs and programs. We hold a club day where all of our students are able to join and participate in clubs during the school day. We offer clubs that will challenge and increase the knowledge of all of our students. One of our most popular clubs is the gardening club. The purpose of this club is to introduce gardening, conserving, recycling, and inspiring children to appreciate nature. Students in this awesome club learn many valuable skills, get to know new friends at our school, and grow some delicious vegetables!
Our monarchs also have the opportunity to participate in poetry recitation and Beta club, just to name a few. We love watching our students thrive and learn to collaborate with each other in the many clubs and programs that we offer at Red Oak Elementary!

The Georgia Student Health Survey is given to all k-12 students in Georgia in the spring of each school year. It is composed of a variety of questions that help our district better understand the student experience in our schools. The literacy information is calculated as the percentage of students reading on or above grade level determined by scores on the Milestones End-of-Grade assessments for 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade in English Language Arts. Each of these data components can be viewed for the previous three years. For more information about these measurements, please access the Red Oak Elementary School website.
