On the most recent College and Career Ready Performance Index (CCRPI), we had several areas where we grew or increased our score from the previous year. Our score on the Readiness indicator rose to a 79.7. This component of CCRPI measures student participation in activities that prepare them for readiness at the next level, college, or career. It includes data like our student attendance, literacy, and participation in fine arts during the school year. We also are extremely proud of our 95.00 climate score rating which is evidence of the amazing school environment we have at PCE. Even though the state has not calculated a CCRPI score during the last two school years due to the pandemic, we have continued our pursuit of exceptional at Pate’s Creek Elementary

We are Pate’s Creek Elementary…a place where paw-sitivity, connectivity, and academic growth reign! We connect daily as a staff with our morning “Connecting at the Creek”, where staff members share inspirational messages to focus our work for the day. We celebrate our staff weekly through Paw-sitive praises every Friday. We are a Paw-sitive Behavior Intervention Supports (PBIS) school, where we focus on recognizing our students for their paw-sitive behavior. We encourage our students to use their social-emotional skills from the Second Step program to be the best “me” that they can be each day. We connect with parents at our bi-monthly “Creek’s Chat” where parents can meet with our administrators to have their questions answered and suggestions heard.

Our PTO meets to celebrate our staff and communicate with our stakeholders and our staff and students continue to be recognized for excellence! From our youngest Pre-K students presenting Black History projects to students like Anuj Doshi winning 1st place in the Literacy Day’s poetry competition for our school, our students shine. We have superstar students like Shrey Lal, who not only was our school Spelling Bee winner, but has also been recognized as the InvestWrite state winner and 10th in the nation for the Invest Write Competition. We are the Panthers- the Pate’s Creek Panthers! ROAR!

The Georgia Student Health Survey is given to all k-12 students in Georgia in the spring of each school year. It is composed of a variety of questions that help our district better understand the student experience in our schools. The literacy information is calculated as the percentage of students reading on or above grade level determined by scores on the Milestones End-of-Grade assessments for 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade in English Language Arts. Each of these data components can be viewed for the previous three years. For more information about these measurements, please access the Pate's Creek Elementary School website.
