My name is Linda Carolina Osorio. I was born and raised in Villavicencio, Colombia. I moved to Bogotá, where I graduated from Jorge Tadeo Lozano University with a B.A. in International Relations and Diplomacy. I went on to study Portuguese in Brazil, but I received my Master's in Portuguese in Bogotá, Colombia, from IBRACO ( Instituto de Cultura Brazil, Colombia ) and English in the USA at University of South Carolina. I got my second Master's in English from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia. Also, I received my third master’s in business administration or MBA from University of Phoenix in California. I have worked in various private and government entities, such as the Food and Drug Administration in Colombia and the Ministry of Foreign Relations, etc. Last year I obtained my second career certificate in Teacher Academy for Preparation and Pedagogy (TAPP) from Griffin Resa. I have lived in different parts of the country (SC, DC, PA, CA, GA). After having my child, I discovered a passion for becoming an educator. I have been working with Henry County Schools since 2017 in East Lake Elementary, Union Grove Middle, Ola High, and Eagles Landing High. One of my passions is traveling around the world and learning about different cultures. I have visited Europe, Asia, Africa, South, Central and North Americas. I hope, and I wish that all my students can have the same opportunities and experiences that I have traveling around the world and speaking more than 1 language. I am so excited to be your son/daughter Spanish Teacher this semester! We are going to do so many fun things and, of course, we will learn a lot. I look forward to having an amazing school year with you all.
