Henry County Schools, in partnership with Southern Crescent Technical College, offers free GED and HiSET preparation classes for adult learners. Here are the key details:
Program Overview
- Preparation for GED & HiSET: The program helps adults prepare for the GED or HiSET exams, which are equivalent to a high school diploma
- Individualized Instruction: Participants receive personalized assignments in either small or large group settings
- Regular Assessments: Regular assessments in reading and math skills help determine when participants are ready to take the exam
Eligibility
- Age Requirement: Participants must be 16 years of age or older
- Free Materials: Books and materials are provided free of charge
