Welcome to Third Grade!

Greetings Parents and Students,

I am excited that your child is going to be in my class! We are going to have a great year! I know with us working together, it will help your child achieve academically and socially. Here is a brief introduction on myself. I graduated from Alcorn State University with my Bachelor's in Biology and obtained my Master's in Plant & Soil Science from Alabama A&M University. Years later, I received my teacher's certificate. My experience in education includes teaching middle and high school, paraprofessional for middle school, substituting for elementary schools, and being an assistant teacher for a GED program. I am originally from Prentiss, Mississippi, but have lived in Georgia for years. I am a proud mother of two beautiful young ladies, Talana and Quintavia. Family is important. I also believe that fostering relationships with my students and parents will help my students be successful. If I touch the hearts of my students, I will touch the hearts of the world.
