The Henry County School System believes that educators should have high expectations of all students. It is our responsibility to help students achieve the academic goals of performing at or above grade level in all subject areas. Children start school at a designated chronological age but differ greatly in their individual development and background experiences.

Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS):
Henry County Schools' Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) process is a proactive prevention framework of team-driven, data-informed problem-solving to improve the outcomes of all students through effective leadership, family, school, and community partners and a layered continuum of evidence-based practices and support.

Early Intervention Program (EIP)
The Early Intervention Program (EIP) provides additional instructional support and resources to help students in grades kindergarten through fifth obtain the necessary academic skills to reach grade-level performance quickly. If you have questions about the EIP program, please contact your child's school.

Remedial Education Program (REP)
The Remedial Education Program (REP) provides additional instructional support and resources to help students in 6th -12th grades obtain the necessary academic skills to reach grade-level performance in the shortest possible time. If you have questions about the REP program, please contact your child's teacher.
