Kayla K. Everett
kayla.everett@henry.k12.ga.usMs. Everett began her journey as an educator at Stockbridge High School in 2019 as an English/Language Arts teacher. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Media Arts (Radio, Television and Film) from the Illustrious Clark Atlanta University where she was on the Deans List and graduated Cum Laude, and she holds a Masters Degree in Secondary Education from Grand Canyon University where she graduated with a 3.95 GPA.
She is a current and active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., a current and active member of Delta Phi Delta Dance Fraternity, Inc., the Head Varsity Basketball Cheer Coach and the Head Competition Dance Coach at Stockbridge High School, and is a current and active member of the McDonough Lion's Club.
Ms. Everett has formally taught 10th Grade (World Literature & Composition) and Basic Reading & Writing (Read 180). She now teaches first-year students (9th Grade Literature & Composition).
Her interests outside of school include, but are not limited to, traveling, going to the movies, amusement parks, judging cheerleading competitions, and spending time with her family and friends.
