What is a SHS Student Ambassador?
The Stockbridge HS Student Ambassador program is a group of students who are dedicated to the positive promotion of Stockbridge High School. The main job of the student ambassador program is to be a helpful, friendly face for the incoming freshman students and promote positive behavior throughout the building.Some of their duties include:- Assisting students to find classrooms and major areas of the building
- Teaching them how to navigate within the building
- Answering questions about activities, classes, building facilities and school rules
- Positively representing the Stockbridge HS student body.
- Act as an ambassador to prospective students and families at school events
- Travel to feeder middle schools (Austin Road Middle & Stockbridge Middle School) to assist with 8th grade transitional meetings/ day in a life of a high schooler.

- Improve interpersonal and conversational skills
- Enhance confidence when speaking and interacting with many members of the Stockbridge community
- Develop networking skills through participation at exciting events
- Develop leadership to use in the real world.
