Objectives:
- To make the student a more proficient and sophisticated listener of music.
- To make the student understanding of the various musical genres between the years 1000 and 1900 C.E.
- To make the student understanding of the major composers between the years 1000 and 1900 C.E.
- To make the student understanding of the various musical instruments between the years 1000 and 1900 C.E.
- To make the student understanding of the differences and similarities of the music historical eras.
- To make the student a better recorder (writer) and critic of what he/she has heard.
- To ultimately give the student a better appreciation for music as an art, science and integral part of culture.
Required Materials:
- Pencil, pen and highlighter
- 3-ring binder with paper
- Any worksheets that I have given you.
- Earphones or earbuds for listening

Daily Classwork Assignments: 25%
Quizzes and Tests: 25%
Projects: 25%
Participation: 25%
Attendance Policy:
Daily attendance is mandatory and will be graded and attendance taken 20-30 min. constitutes a full class attendance.)
