Speech Practice On-The-Go and At Home
Articulation Tips for Parents:
- Be a good model - speak clearly and slowly. If your child says a word or sentence incorrectly, repeat the word back using correct production of targeted sound (with emphasis on the sound).
- Use a mirror to see where articulators (lips, teeth, tongue) are hitting versus where they should be hitting.
- When doing homework or reading, point out words that have targeted spech sounds to practice.
