My dear Golden Eagles, 

I am so honored to be here at "The Landing" with you.  I have been in education for 29 years.  I am orginially from south Georgia where I grew up the baby of six children.  I graduated from Georgia Southern University with a B.S. in English Education, Georgia College and State University with a M.S. in English Education, and Columbus State University with a Specialist degree in Administration and Leadership.  I began teaching 9th and 10th grade Literature in Baldwin County.  After 5 years, I moved to Houston county and taught 9th and 10th grade Literature for several years at Perry High School.  I met and married my wonderful husband during this time.  We moved to the Atlanta area and I began working in Henry county.  I taught 9th - 11th grade Literature at Dutchtown High School for almost 15 years.  During that time my family grew to include my two beautiful boys and a turtle named Slider! This will be my fourth year as Assistant Principal at ELHS and I could not be happier!  My hobbies include reading, writing, photography, and table decorating.  I love to take Zumba classes (although I have very little rhythm).  I love traveling with my family and making as many memories as possible.  I have been extremely blessed in my life, and my mission is to be a blessing in the lives of everyone I encounter.  I got this feeling in my bones that this is going to be the best year EVER!  Let's Gooooo!!!
