• HENRY COUNTY SCHOOLS GRADING SYSTEMS POLICY OVERVIEW

In April 2019, the Henry County Schools’ Board of Education approved policy IHA-Grading Systems and created a regulation that will remain constant from year to year and this regulation will be referenced in the handbook, but not repeated in the handbook. It is important to note the changes to the grading systems policy to ensure appropriate, effective, and consistent advisement practices at all schools. There are two (2) versions of the IHA-R Grading Systems Regulation: (1) students who are entering 9th grade for the first time in the 2019-2020 school year or after, and (2) students who started 9th grade in prior years. Please explore the chart applicable to the date your student entered 9th grade. If there are questions, please see the high school counselor or the Instructional Assistant Principal.
