Meet Your Teacher

Jasmine Ice Butler studied classical voice at Georgia State University and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Music Education. In addion to teaching Middle School Chorus for several years, Mrs. Ice Butler is a professional vocalist with experience in jazz, gospel, pop, musical theater and other musical genres. She has been teaching private voice lessons since 2011 in the metro Atlanta area where she most recently taught music at the H.O.P.E Summer Enrichment Program. Mrs. Ice Butler started her teaching career at Wesley International Academy. She is International Baccalaureate Curriculum certified and experienced in single gender education. Mrs. Ice Butler joined the Dutchtown Middle School staff during the 2019-2020 school year. She teaches Music Appreciation and Chorus to 6th-7th and 8th grade students and looks forward to developing additional programs to enhace student growth.
