    BIOGRAPHY

Greetings! My name is Anita Snead Daniel and I am so excited to say that this year will be my 28th year of teaching elementary school! I am from Hartwell, Ga., where both of my parents were teachers. They are enjoying retirement to the fullest, especially my mom, since she taught for 43 years!!! I have an awesome husband, an older brother, a younger sister, two bonus daughters, five grandchildren, and two amazing nephews!!  Preparation for obtaining my teaching degree began at Emmanuel College in Franklin Springs, Ga. I graduated with an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education. I went on to attend West Georgia College & State University where I received a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education/Special Education. After being hired to teach by the Newton County School System in Covington, Ga.,  I went back to school to obtain a Master's Degree. I taught 4th grade in the Newton System for 11 years. In 2006, I began at Fairview Elementary School, continuing to teach 4th grade for 7 years. As I entered the 2013-2014 school year, I had the opportunity to teach 5th grade. I enjoyed doing that for 2 years. Afterwards, I was given the opportunity to teach 3rd grade for six years. As the 2022- 2023 school year begins, I will be entering my second year as a part of the Exceptional Student Education Team.  Education has allowed me to be part of the process that helps mold and encourage children to be the best version of themselves and that is VERY exciting for me! Therefore, it is imperative that three important components are in place for your child's success: student effort, parent effort, and teacher effort. We are truly better TOGETHER, so let's GROW forward!
