Student Government Officer Elections
Those interested in running for a Student Council or class officer should complete all required components by Monday, May 5 at 4:00pm. We will be electing class officers for the upcoming 10th-12th grades. The following items must be submitted to Mr. Satterwhite:

Student Government Executive Application - Google form to complete your application

Two Teacher Recommendation Forms - Pick up two forms from Mr. Satterwhite

Student Signature Sheet-You must pick up a signature form from Mr. Satterwhite in room 316

Election Meeting: There will be a brief meeting in room 327 to discuss campaigning, the election, and the first meeting for our new officers, Tuesday, April 30 at 3:20. All running for an office must attend or you will be removed from the ballot.

- Meetings are held Tuesdays at 3:20pm in room 327
- Meetings are open to all WHS Students
The Responsibilities and Goals of Student Council and Class Officers:
- To represent the students of Woodland High School by promoting the general welfare and morale of the school culture and providing a forum for student expression
- To provide leadership and service throughout the school and the community
- To develop attitudes of good citizenship and the workings of democracy
- To encourage students to participate in school events
