Dr. Inga Parker

My name is Inga Parker, and I am both honored and humbled to join the administrative team at Rocky Creek as the newest assistant principal! I am a native of Barnesville, GA and I have been in the field of education for over 24 years. During this time, I’ve served students, teachers, and families as an elementary homeroom teacher for grades K-5,  new teacher mentor, an EIP teacher, and MTSS Chairperson. For the past 4 years, I’ve supported teachers and students as the Instruction and Personalized Learning Lead here at Rocky Creek. During this time, I completed the Henry County Schools ASPIRE Leadership Cohort and was named the 2022-2023 Teacher of the Year.  

I am passionate about mentoring, coaching, and cultivating the skill of individuals. I believe wholeheartedly that relationships are the foundation to education and that if given equitable opportunities our students can reach their highest academic potential and develop social and emotional competencies that lead to success.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I am happily married to Frederick Parker and I am a basketball mom to a high school son, Asa, therefore many evenings and weekends are spent in gyms and I absolutely love it!
