Ms. Laney Polk

Hello! My name is Laney Polk.  

I will be teaching first grade this year and I am excited about being with the East Lake Family again. 

I grew up in Griffin with my two brothers. I am the middle child and only girl. I spent a lot of time playing outside and watching my brothers play sports. I have a Boykin Spaniel named Milly who is very energetic and loves to play fetch. 

This will be my third year teaching. I taught second grade for two years. I love coaching cheer and watching sports. Family game nights are my favorite whether that is playing a game of kickball in the yard or playing an intense 2 hour game of monopoly. 

I can’t wait for this school year to start!!
