 All About Me!

Hello! My name is Megan Lowery-Pearley. I am from Baton Rouge,  Louisiana and am excited to be your child’s 5th grade ELA & SS teacher at TES this school year. I started teaching in 2006. I have taught Kindergarten, First, Second, and Fourth grade. I  have so had the privilege to serve as an interventionist.  I earned my Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Elementary Education from Southern University and A&M College and my Masters degree in Educational Leadership from Louisiana State University Shreveport. I am married with 5 beautiful smart girls. Two of my girls are sophomores attending both my alma maters. I am excited to embark upon this final Elementary chapter with you and your child in a safe, nurturing, and challenging school year. 

My philosophy of teaching is simple; learning should be fun! I want your child's last year of Elementary school to be a rewarding and memorable experience filled with a plethora of knowledge to take with them to use in the future.

 Although I am a bit nervous about this remote learning experience, we are in this together.
