    Welcome to the 8th grade -  I look forward to working with you this year.  We have a lot of wonderful things planned to support the curriculum. It is up to you to take advantage of every opportunity to improve your education and understanding as well as participate in the lessons and activities planned. Please check back with this webpage often to stay current on topics for our Georgia Studies class.
     
    Class Reminders: Please bring your 3 ring notebook/binder to class every day in case you need to do a quick jot or write some notes down. Be sure it has plenty of notebook paper and that you have pens/pencils for taking notes.  On occasion we will need colored pencils and index cards for class.  If you want to have those with you daily, that would be helpful.
     
    Please be sure to check for emails from @messenger as many emails come through infinite campus.  These sometimes go to your junk mailbox instead of inbox.  
     
    Donations for the classroom are always welcome.  We go through quite a lot of Kleenex with allergies and colds, sometimes students forget they are low on paper or pens and need them during class.  I also like to have individually wrapped candies on hand to give out during class activities (jolly ranchers, peppermints, airheads, etc).
