What are protists?


Protists are single and multi-cellular organisms that are plant-like, animal-like, and fungi-like. There are 12 phyla in this kingdom.

Where are protists found?


Most protists can be found in moist and wet areas. They can also be found in tree trunks and other organisms.


Do they produce sexually or asexually?


Actually protists produce both ways. Animal-like amoebas and plantlike Euglena reproduce asexually. Others reproduce sexually. To reproduce sexually, it requires 2 parents.


What do protists look like?
