News Network (KNN) is the student news program of Pleasant Grove
Elementary School in Stockbridge, Georgia, USA.
This site was created
to share information about our program with our school community and
with other elementary schools who may want to create their own
school news programs.
Our news program was
started on a very small scale in the spring of our opening year,
1996-97. It has grown each year, as has our equipment
collection. KNN, a name given to the program by students in
its second year, has now become an integral part of our
school. Both students and staff members look forward to the
weekly programs. And both staff members and students suggest
story ideas for the program.
