“100% Me, Drug Free”


Activities

A daily trivia question will be posted on the wall outside of room 204 near the cafeteria.  Answers can be turned in to the box at the concession stand during lunch each day. Daily prize drawings will be held from winning submissions.


Monday, October 23rd

 

*Homeroom teachers pass ribbons out and ask students to wear all week. Students could be rewarded if “caught” wearing their ribbons any day during the week)

                 

*Language Arts teachers will explain the essay/poetry/commercial contest rules to students.

         


 

Tuesday, October 24th

 

*Students will sign links that will be chained together and displayed throughout the building.

          

                  

          Ms. Taylor with her Red Ribbon Links made from her student's pledges.

*A Drug-free message will be read over the announcements.

                


Wednesday, October 25th

*Ola Middle “Fights Against Drugs”-everyone wear camouflage clothing.

 

*Homeroom teachers will read “The Origin of Red Ribbon Week” to students.

 

*Students will work on their essay, poem or commercial for the contest due Friday.

 

*A Drug-free message will be read over the announcements.


Thursday, October 26th

             

* “Too Cool to use drugs” –everyone wear shades.

 

 

  

*Students will work on their essay, poem or commercial for the contest due Friday.


            

Friday, October 27th

 

*Wear Red Day

 

*School-wide Assembly 2:15-3:30.

 

*Essay/Poetry/Commercial Contest Submissions are due during homeroom.
