Student
Services Mission Statement
The
department of Student Services will work collaboratively with student,
home, school, and community to advance high expectations, both in
academic achievement and in demonstration of courteous, responsible
behavior.
The Henry County Learner Standards define our role. The Learner
Standards describe the expectations for what all students should know
and be able to do upon graduation from the Henry County School System.
 Proficiency
in the application of basic academic skills.
Knowledge
and skills necessary for career and post-secondary
success.
Knowledge and skills necessary to contribute to the economic and general
well-being of self and society.
Knowledge and skills necessary to function effectively and responsibly
with others.
Skills necessary for responsible citizenship.
Skills necessary to appreciate artistic expression.
By achieving these goals, we will serve our schools and community in
developing quality citizens for Henry County.

Where
are we?
Student Services
is located at the Administrative Offices, 33 Zack Hinton Parkway,
McDonough. We are in Suite A120 which is located on the main hall
of the building. The staff can be reached at 770-957-6601 or by
fax 678-583-4981. Our office hours are Monday through Thursday -
8:00 am to 5:00 pm and Friday - 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
The Henry
County Performing Arts Center
is located at 37 Lemon Street, McDonough.
