Henry County’s 21 elementary schools serve students in kindergarten through grade 5.
The instructional program includes language arts (reading, writing, spelling, listening,
speaking), mathematics, social studies, science, health, physical education, art, and
music. All elementary schools have full-time music, art and physical
education teachers, and all have counselors. Parental involvement and support is
encouraged through frequent conferences.
Elementary school hours are from 7:55 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
